Quadrado Azul is glad to present the third solo exhibition by Isabel Ribeiro. some fears' starting point is a set of dialogues on the topic of fear developed by the artist with several people. The same question was asked to a group of people from different nationalities and personal background and living in diverse political situations: "What do you think when you hear the word fear?" The answers to this question match the titles of the works presented in the exhibition. The conversations that followed the answers resulted in the representations explored in each of the drawings. From this process comes out the mapping of a collective imaginary concerning situations that are subject to fear, and also the acknowledgement of a gap between the experiences lived and those triggering fear.
