Privacy policy
Galeria Quadrado Azul respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we collect through this website, why, for how long, and what your rights are.
Data controller
[Company name], tax number [number], at the addresses listed on the Contacts page. For any question about your data, write to lisboa@quadradoazul.pt.
What data we collect and why
Contact form and edition requests. Name, email, phone (optional), your message and, for a request, the edition and version chosen. We use this data only to reply to your message or request. The legal basis is your request and our legitimate interest in replying to it.
Newsletter. Email, name (optional), preferred language and the subscription date. We use this data to send you the gallery newsletter about exhibitions, artists and editions. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter.
Technical data. Like any website, our servers log technical data about visits (for example, IP address and browser type), used only to keep the site secure and working, and deleted after a short period.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Cookies
The public website does not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies. Only the administration area, reserved for the gallery team, uses a technical cookie to keep the session signed in. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent.
How long we keep the data
- Messages and requests: as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than two years after the last contact.
- Newsletter: while you remain subscribed. Once you unsubscribe, you stop receiving emails and your data is no longer used for that purpose.
- Technical access data: a few weeks.
Who processes data on our behalf
We use service providers to host the website, store images and send emails. They process data only on our instructions. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in those cases, the safeguards required by the GDPR apply, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, request portability, and withdraw any consent given. To do so, write to lisboa@quadradoazul.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
